### February 2026

* CSV data import: web owners can now bulk-import listings from a CSV file, with support for mapping columns to categories.
* Switched from vis-network to react-force-graph-2d for the network visualisation, improving performance and interactivity.
* Creating listings now send a notification email to the listing contact when a new listing is created.

### January 2026

* New listings are now highlighted on the web page and displayed first.
* Implemented marker clustering in the map view for webs with many listings.
* Added Google Maps directions link to listing location.
* Homepage is now fully statically generated for improved performance.
* Improved mobile experience for listing dialogs.
* OpenTelemetry logging integration for PostHog analytics.
* Switched image storage from DigitalOcean Spaces to Supabase Storage.
* Upgraded to Next.js 16 and Node 24.
* Upgraded to Prisma 7.

### December 2025

* Soft delete for webs: deleting a web now archives it instead of permanently removing it, allowing recovery if needed.
* Public pages are now automatically updated when categories or tags are updated.
* Enabled Sentry User Feedback integration, making it easier for users to report issues.
* Improved form validation: social media and action fields now have consistent validation across the main listing form and the edit/propose form.

### November 2025

* Replaced signin via Magic Link with signin via Email One-Time Passcode.
  * This resolves an issue encountered by people using workplace email inboxes.

### October 2025

* Migrated web host from Vercel to Netlify.
* Dynamic action buttons for listings. Any listing can now have individual buttons for different actions that visitors can take: Volunteer, Contact, Donate, Newsletter and Resources.

### July 2025

* Migrated to new transactional and marketing email service, Mailersend and Mailerlite. This is due to Sendgrid, our old email service is axing its free plan.
* Editing listings: anyone can now add/update the location of a listing (subject to approval by the respective web owners of course).
* Team owners are now able to remove other team members if they want to leave the team (except owners).
* Webs can now have a location and a contact email set. These will be displayed on a brand new "web homepage", for example this is the one for Durham: <https://durham.resilienceweb.org.uk/web>

### 31 May 2025

* Links to related/neighbouring webs
  * Web owners can now add links to other webs that are either close geographically or related in some way. If you are a web owner, go to Web Settings to see the new section for adding links.

* Map view is now available 🎉. It is enabled by admins for webs that have more than 50% of listings with location data set. If the categories of the listings have a custom icon set (see above) that will also be displayed.

  * Note: a listing can only have one edit suggestion in progress at one time

We will work on displaying all the listings together in the map, stay tuned :raised\_hands: In the meantime, please add the location to as many listings as you can. Of course, there are many organisations that don't have a fixed address, in which case there's no need to do so. We will find a way to display them in/alongside the Map view either way.

**Platform improvements ⚙️**

Over the past few weeks we've worked on improving our systems under the hood. This resulted in improved performance for those who use the admin dashboard, as well as simpler architecture and code, which will make it simpler for us to deliver new features going forward.

Here are other small things we've shipped:

* \[Admin] Minor improvements to the list of team members displayed on the Team page
* \[Admin] Fixed a few bugs that some new users were encountering when signing up and trying to create a new web

* \[Admin] Fixed a bug where signing in with a different account sometimes got users stuck in a non-recoverable state
* \[Admin] Added way of selecting the location for a web (feature currently in Beta)
